Job Description
An M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects or existing facilities. Their primary responsibility is to manage on-site technicians and subcontractors, ensuring that complex infrastructure—such as HVAC units, electrical grids, generators, lighting, elevators, and water systems—is installed and functioning safely. They conduct rigorous inspections to verify that all work complies with technical blueprints, local building codes, and safety regulations. In addition to technical oversight, M&E Supervisors plan daily workflows, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, coordinate with project managers to keep tasks on schedule, and meticulously document maintenance logs, material inventories, and safety compliance reports to ensure building efficiency and structural safety.
