Job Description
An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of a building's physical systems to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local engineering codes. Their daily duties involve supervising on-site technicians and subcontractors, coordinating project schedules, and conducting rigorous inspections of HVAC, electrical wiring, water supply, and fire protection systems. As a bridge between field labor and project management, they interpret engineering drawings, troubleshoot complex technical issues, allocate materials, and enforce strict safety standards on-site. By proactively managing preventive maintenance schedules and addressing system breakdowns, the MEP Supervisor ensures that all building utilities run smoothly with minimal downtime.
