Job Description
A Road Maintenance Worker helps keep roads, highways, and public streets safe and in good condition. Their duties include repairing potholes, cleaning roadsides, clearing drains, installing and repairing road signs, and maintaining barriers and guardrails. They operate basic tools and equipment, remove debris, and help with road resurfacing and painting road markings. Road Maintenance Workers also set up traffic control signs and cones to protect workers and drivers during repairs. They follow safety rules, wear protective equipment, and work as part of a team to ensure roads remain safe and well maintained.
