Job Description
A Drywall Installer installs drywall panels on walls and ceilings in homes, offices, and commercial buildings. They measure and cut drywall sheets to fit each space, then secure them using screws, nails, or other fasteners. They prepare surfaces, align panels carefully, and make sure the installation is straight and secure. Drywall Installers also repair damaged drywall, fill gaps, apply joint tape and compound, and sand surfaces to create a smooth finish ready for painting or decorating. They use hand and power tools safely, follow building plans, and keep the work area clean while completing projects on schedule.
