Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate should possess minimum CIFFA Certificate in International from a recognized institute.
- The ideal candidate must have at least 1 - 2 Years of proven work experience in the similar field.
Primary Responsibilities for this job is
- To receive product arrival dates, coordinate with overseas (US and other countries) suppliers.
- Examine and approve shipping documents, such as certifications, bills of lading, and other relevant documents.
- Keep internal staff updated about product shipments, concerns, and other developments by communicating with them and liaising with them.
- Maintain and update purchase order, invoice, adjustment, and delivery files for suppliers.
- In collaboration with the Logistics Team, approve supplier invoices for payment and amend payment schedules.
- If necessary, make changes to purchase orders.
- Arrange for goods delivery from the port or rail yard to the warehouse.
- Notify the supplier and work with them to remedy any issues with the container before it is delivered to the warehouse.
- All shipment documentation should be kept in electronic files.
- Assist the Logistics Team with backup.
- Check the sample request form provided by Quality Assurance, Sales, or Purchasing.
- Work with the supplier and customs broker to coordinate the import of sample shipments.
- Prepare an import permit from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
- Approve the supplier's paperwork
- Tracking spreadsheet should be updated.
- Approve the invoice from the custom broker.
