Job Description
A barista’s primary duty is preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, tailored exactly to customer preferences. This requires a deep understanding of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and grind sizes, alongside technical skill in operating commercial espresso machines, grinders, and milk-steaming wands. Beyond crafting drinks, baristas manage the point-of-sale system by taking orders, processing payments, and suggesting pastries or seasonal specials. They are also responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by continuously sanitizing work surfaces, washing equipment, and clearing café seating areas
