Job Description
A Health Safety Environment Engineer—often called an HSE Engineer—is the professional responsible for keeping workplaces safe for employees, protecting the environment, and making sure companies follow safety laws and regulations. This role is extremely important in industries like construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, factories, power plants, and large engineering projects where accidents and environmental risks can happen if proper safety systems are not followed.
The main duty of an HSE Engineer is to prevent accidents before they happen. They inspect workplaces, identify hazards, check safety equipment, and create safety procedures for workers. They also make sure employees use protective gear like helmets, gloves, goggles, safety shoes, and harnesses correctly.
