Job Description
A Food Runner is an important support worker in restaurants, hotels, cafes, and busy dining places. This person helps move prepared food quickly and correctly from the kitchen to the customer’s table. Even though the role may look simple, it plays a big part in customer satisfaction because fast and accurate food delivery keeps guests happy and service running smoothly.
The main duty of a Food Runner is to collect dishes from the kitchen, check table numbers, and serve meals to the right guests without mistakes. They work closely with chefs, waiters, and restaurant supervisors to make sure no order is delayed.
