Manufacturing Production Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing manufacturing production plans aligned with the mission, ensuring effective implementation against budget parameters and defined schedules.
- Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to support strategic initiatives and enhance production efficiency.
- Introduce techniques and practices to increase production volumes, reduce costs, lower defects, and enhance overall efficiencies, minimizing production wastage.
- Provide direction and leadership to the Production staff, align resources, set priorities, and implement cost-effective initiatives to achieve Manufacturing Department objectives.
- Manage manufacturing production KPIs to ensure the delivery of performance targets.
- Plan department budgets for manpower, chemicals, and technical requirements, monitor and allocate the approved budget to control expenses effectively.
- Initiate plans and processes to minimize manufacturing costs through efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
- Plan, organize, and direct technical and maintenance operations to ensure the effective return on assets, delivering the best adherence to maintenance plan execution.
- Provide daily leadership to manufacturing operations while maintaining focus on overall manufacturing goals.
- Coordinate, assist, and advise both R&D and marketing on new product production feasibility.
- Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure meeting production forecasts within resource and production constraints.
- Research, analyze, and implement improvements, ensuring well management of processing Production activities to reduce production costs and time effectively.
- Manage shutdown plans for all related maintenance activities per scheduled plans to ensure PM plans' completion and machines' best reliability.
- Ensure operations are conducted according to quality and safety standards, consistently maintaining acceptable finished goods quality levels, reducing defects and incidents to meet profitability objectives.
- Monitor safety procedures, ensuring safety systems and safe work practices are constantly in place.
- Ensure all manufacturing practices comply with health and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, follow up, and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions when sub-standards are encountered.
- Develop the necessary Manufacturing Organization structure, ensuring the right caliber of staffing and providing appropriate training to meet all job requirements.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Proven experience in implementing and executing well manufacturing systems and performance measurement programs.
- Experienced with business strategy change processes.
- Experience in applying lean Manufacturing System processes and project management knowledge.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs and ERP System.
