Senior Maintenance Manager (GG13)
Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose: BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor, providing equipment support and training to Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager for the Hawk aircraft fleet. The role involves overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring fleet availability, and managing future capability support at King Faisal Air Base (KFAB).
Job Accountabilities: The Senior Maintenance Manager is accountable for:
- Sustaining Fully Mission Capable (FMC) rates as per contractual requirements.
- Ensuring availability of aircraft and Ground-Based Training Systems (GBTS) for the Flying Training Programme.
- Managing future capability and non-recurring engineering programs.
- Balancing aircraft availability with airworthiness and safety standards.
- Leading ad-hoc technical programs, modification programs, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Supporting talent management, induction, and competence development for maintenance personnel.
- Providing support to and deputizing for the Pt145 nominated Form 4.
Recruitment Specification:
- Recognized qualification to NVQ3, ONC, OND, BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
- Post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with proven ability to supervise engineering personnel.
- Extensive Air Sector company industry knowledge, military or civil aviation experience.
- Form 4 holder and understanding of competence frameworks.
- Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures.
