A Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, buildings, and equipment from theft, damage, or unsafe activity. A security guard helps maintain peace and makes sure everything stays safe and under control.
The daily duties include watching entry and exit points, checking visitors, patrolling the area, monitoring CCTV cameras, and reporting any suspicious behavior. Security guards may also help during emergencies, guide visitors, and respond quickly if there is a safety issue. In some workplaces, they keep records of visitors and deliveries as well.
