Job Description

Lift technicians are responsible for the maintenance and repair of ski lifts. They must ensure that all safety standards and regulations are met, while also maintaining the smooth running of ski lifts in both winter and summer seasons. Working closely with resort supervisors, lift technicians have a range of responsibilities to ensure that skiers can safely enjoy their time on the slopes.

The primary role of a lift technician is to maintain and test ski lift systems on a daily basis, ensuring that they are functioning to their full potential. This includes checking cables, motors, seats and safety bars for signs of wear or damage. Additionally, technicians will perform regular cleaning duties such as wiping down chairs and removing debris from around the lift stations.

Lift technicians must also be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operations.
