Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement corporate environmental policies and monitor compliance.
- Stay updated with all applicable environmental regulations, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Supervise local surveys, sampling, and interpretation of measurements.
- Review and provide comments on environmental aspects of contract documents.
- Monitor the environmental performance of contractor operations.
- Organize and participate in major surveys, including Environmental Performance Assessments, NORM surveys, OHHA, HAZCOM Assessments, and more.
Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Environmental Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: 10 years in oil, gas, petrochemicals, and construction (5 years in project-based positions).
- Skills: Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments, knowledge of analytical and scientific software, compliance software, and graphic imaging.
- Travel: Extensive travel required to project sites.
- Language: Very good command of English.
