A dairy farm worker job description calls for a responsible individual who is able to keep up with the daily tasks associated with running a successful dairy farm. The successful candidate for this role will be expected to carry out all milking and feeding duties as well as general maintenance of the facility. Responsibilities also include caring for livestock, cleaning and disinfecting barns, monitoring animal health and administering treatments when needed. In addition, they must ensure that feed is stored properly, apply bedding materials in each stall or pen, trim hooves, provide proper nutrition to the animals and monitor their overall health.
