Job Description
An AC Technician, also called an Air Conditioning Technician, is a skilled worker who installs, repairs, and maintains air conditioning and cooling systems. These systems are used in homes, offices, shopping malls, hospitals, hotels, factories, and commercial buildings to keep indoor spaces cool and comfortable. In hot countries, especially, AC technicians are always in demand because air conditioning has become an important part of daily life and business operations.
The daily duties of an AC Technician include installing air conditioners, checking cooling systems, cleaning filters, repairing gas leaks, replacing damaged parts, testing thermostats, and maintaining ventilation systems. They also inspect compressors, motors, pipes, and electrical connections to make sure the equipment works properly and safely. In larger buildings, technicians may work on central cooling systems and industrial HVAC units.
