Job Description

For hotels, the dishwasher job is an important role in the daily operations. The primary responsibility of a hotel dishwasher is to ensure a clean and sanitary food-service environment for guests and staff alike. Daily tasks will include washing dishes, glassware, and silverware quickly but thoroughly; keeping the kitchen floors and work areas clean; replenishing supplies; following safety protocols; removing garbage from the premises; and occasionally cleaning cooking utensils.

To be successful in this position, great attention to detail is required in order to effectively keep up with the demands of a busy kitchen. A high level of time management skills will also be needed as well as good interpersonal skills when interacting with other staff members or guests who may need assistance.
