Production In-Charge (Interior Fit-Out)

Gulf Enterprises is seeking a highly organised and experienced production in-charge to run its joinery and interior fit-out production operations in Muscat, Oman. The production in-charge will plan, organise and control daily production schedules so projects finish on time and to the required quality. The role includes leading, supervising and motivating production staff, carpenters and technicians, and keeping raw materials, tools and supplies stocked by working with procurement on timely ordering. All work must meet design specifications, quality standards and client requirements, and the role holder will work closely with the design, estimation and project management teams to keep work flowing smoothly, as well as coordinating with site teams so installations happen on time. The role also covers keeping the workshop clean, safe and efficient in line with health and safety rules, preparing production reports, tracking progress and updating management, and improving production processes to cut waste and control costs. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, production management or a related field (preferred) and at least five years of experience in interior fit-out production, with fifteen or more years preferred. Strong knowledge of joinery, gypsum and profiles is needed, along with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and skill in production planning, quality control and workshop management. Knowledge of CNC machines and woodworking tools is an advantage.
