Painters

Gulf Enterprises is looking for skilled and experienced painters to join its team in Muscat, Oman. The role covers painting work on the inside and outside of homes and commercial buildings, from preparing surfaces through to the final finish. The painters will get walls and other surfaces ready by scraping, sanding and removing old paint or wallpaper, then fill cracks and holes with putty, plaster or a similar filler so each surface is smooth. They will mix and match paints, varnishes and other finishes and apply them with brushes, rollers or spray guns. Before starting, they will protect furniture, floors and nearby fittings with drop cloths and masking tape, and keep the work area clean and safe in line with safety rules. Candidates should have proven experience as a professional painter on residential, commercial or industrial projects, along with a good knowledge of painting materials and techniques and how to choose and mix them. A careful eye for detail, a steady work ethic, and the ability to work alone or as part of a team are needed, as is the physical fitness and stamina to work from ladders and scaffolding.
