Traffic Officer - Kuwait Airways (Riyadh, KSA)

About Kuwait Airways: Kuwait Airways is actively seeking candidates for the position of Traffic Officer in Riyadh, KSA. As a Traffic Officer, you will play a crucial role in performing specialized clerical and technical duties related to passenger check-in and handling.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Check-in KAC passengers and baggage at designated check-in counters.
• Verify passenger ticket fares, flight details, and passport validity and visa availability.
• Issue excess baggage forms and collect payments.
• Liaise with Airport Immigration and Security Authorities to ensure timely checking of boarding passengers' passports.
• Arrange for transiting passengers, fulfilling all necessary requirements.
• Prepare passenger manifests manually or using computer systems.
• Close flights and prepare Passenger Transferring Manifests (PTM) when assigned to transit counters.
• Collaborate with Immigration Authorities at Kuwait Airport to facilitate the clearance of passenger cabin and deck crew for KAC flights.
• Obtain Immigration clearance for KAC to release their flights.
• Perform various clerical activities related to transiting passengers, baggage, and connecting flights.
• Handle responsibilities of other units within Passenger Services, such as Special Handling Services, Transit Releasing, and Baggage Services, as needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education.
• Minimum of 2 years of airport operation experience with an airline.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong knowledge of relevant computer systems.
• Familiarity with visa requirements for all countries.
• Ability to handle various clerical activities and technical duties efficiently.
