Job Description

A tire changer is an important job that requires extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance. Tire changers must be able to safely remove, inspect, and install tires on a variety of vehicles. This job requires the individual to be detail oriented and knowledgeable about the proper safety protocols for handling tires.

The primary responsibility of a tire changer is to service customer vehicles in a timely manner. This includes removing old tires, inspecting wheels for any damage or defects, mounting new tires onto wheels using specialized tools, inflating and balancing the new tires according to manufacturer specifications, and finally installing them on customer vehicles. They are also responsible for cleaning up after each job is completed.
