- Answers the phone when it rings.
- Calls are routed through the switchboard or PBX system to guest rooms, staff, or departments.
- Makes outgoing phone calls.
- Receives messages from guests and relays them to them.
- All wake-up call requests are logged, and wake-up call services are provided.
- Guests are given information about the hotel's services.
- Learn how to operate a telephone operator board or PBX switchboard.
- Paging services are provided for hotel guests and workers.
- When an emergency call is required, knows what to do.
- When the engineering and maintenance departments are closed, monitor automated systems such as fire alarms and telephone equipment.
