IT Infrastructure Architect

VAM Systems is seeking an IT infrastructure architect for its UAE operations in Dubai. The role shapes target-state infrastructure architecture across data centres, networks, compute, storage and end-user platforms, and leads infrastructure modernisation with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, backup and business continuity. The architect will design cloud architecture across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including cloud landing zones and hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, and will apply FinOps and cloud cost governance. Cyber security architecture is a central part of the role, covering Zero Trust, next-generation firewalls, SASE and SSE, cloud security posture and workload protection, identity and privileged access management, endpoint and extended detection and response, data loss prevention and encryption. The role also involves partnering with security operations teams on SIEM and SOAR, presenting architecture to review boards and executives, and mentoring developers and junior architects. The successful candidate is expected to join within fifteen to thirty days.
