• Setting up and configuring computer hardware, software, and operating systems
• Constant vigilance and proactive network and computer system maintenance
• Replacing components as necessary
• Fixing hardware or software issues, detecting and resolving system and network issues, and software errors
• Responding to call-outs within the stated time frame Concentrating on a task nonstop until it is finished (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Walking employees or clients through a sequence of steps over the phone or in-person to assist with system setup or problem solving
• Quickly forging positive professional relationships with coworkers, clients, and other professionals, such as programmers
• Setting up new users' profiles and accounts, as well as handling password concerns
• Giving assistance, including providing reports and procedure documentation.
• Supporting the roll-out of new apps or upgrades; testing and evaluating new technologies; maintaining documentation and hardware/software registers; fixing faults by following diagrams and textual instructions;
• Configure workstations with PCs and other required peripherals (routers, printers, etc.)
.Develop and manage local networks to maximize performance. Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
.Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, etc.) for functionality. Orient and guide people on how to utilize new software and computer hardware.
