IST/Switch Application Support Specialist

Nair Systems is looking for an IST/Switch Application Support Specialist for its UAE operations. The role covers production support at L2 and L3 level for the IST/Switch payment switching platform, including monitoring live transaction flows, investigating transaction failures, authorisation declines, timeouts and reconciliation breaks, root-cause analysis, and providing round-the-clock on-call and shift-based support. Day-to-day work includes daily health checks, batch monitoring, end-of-day settlement and reconciliation, HSM key operations, certificate renewals, card-scheme mandate updates, and maintaining ISO 8583 message configurations, routing tables, BIN and institution setups and stand-in parameters. The role also supports new card product launches, scheme mandates, interface integrations, switch upgrades and migrations, and disaster-recovery testing. Applicants need hands-on experience with the IST/Switch (FIS) payment switching platform in a live banking environment, knowledge of Active/Active dual-site setups, strong knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging and the EFT transaction lifecycle, an understanding of card-scheme interfaces and certifications including Visa, Mastercard, mada, UAESWITCH and GCCNet, experience with HSM, key management, EMV and PCI DSS, and proficiency in Unix and Linux, shell scripting, SQL and log analysis. The expected joining time is within two weeks, and one month at most.
